The Future Economy Incubator works for radical change of the global economic system. We want to see a world that transcends capitalism, where economic activity serves society and nature in all their diversity. Economic decolonisation is central to our mission.
building new spaces for collaboration
We see it as vital to create spaces for individuals and groups to be liberated from formulaic thinking and short-term policy change approaches, to imagine and to shape and socialize radical ideas and proposals.
We work with others to create these spaces.
advancing alternative thought leadership
We create and co-create well-worked-out proposals for change.
We build a repository of ideas and proposals and make it widely accessible. Good ideas need to be kept alive and socialized so they are ready and available when opportunities come.
We create communication platforms working in multiple languages, to share ideas and amplify others.
building power outside the system
Changes to the dominant economic systems will only occur if they are driven by a broad-based movement.
The Future Economy Incubator develops and communicate proposals for radical change to the economic systems in partnership with social movements and outside-the-system activists and in a way that energizes and strengthens their work.
